What is N.O.W?
N.O.W is a social events club for any women aged 21 plus, who want to make new friends and improve their social lives.

It was conceived by entrepreneur, Mary Harrison, as a way of gathering together like-minded ladies who have found that for various reasons, are at a stage in their lives where they have few friends to go out with.

It is not always easy to meet and make new friends so Mary came up with N.O.W. an idea which makes it easy for you to make new friends and expand you social network.

What do I get for my Membership Fee?
Like many other women you may wonder how you can make new friends, visit interesting and exciting places and try new activities, but perhaps are unsure of where to begin. N.O.W is a social club for women that enables you to do all that.

N.O.W provides you with a unique, fun, reliable and safe way to widen your circle of friends and the opportunity to meet numerous other women, of similar ages and interests in a relaxed and fun environment.

Once you become a member of N.O.W you:

Receive e-mail up dates to our social calendar, which changes on a regular basis.
Regular introductions to like-minded ladies
You benefit from group discounts.
You can book and come to as many activities as you choose at the special members rate. Non-members are charged an additional 15% on top of the advertised rates and can only attend a maximum of 1 event.
Access to our free event organising service. So if you have a birthday coming up or fancy a night out with a group of friends and haven't got the time to organise it we will do it for you.
You have input into the events calendar so if there is an activity you would like to do let us know about it and if the others members like the idea we will organise it.
By meeting in a group, our format provides peace of mind and safety in numbers. 
We never release any of our members’ details unless they instruct us to.

Can I come along on my own?
Of course you can! That’s exactly what N.O.W is for. It is has been created to provide an environment where women on their own can come and make new friends. We’re just a group of like-minded ladies, so don’t be shy – that’s what prevents us from getting out and having an active social life!

Will there be people there of my own age group?
N.O.W is for 21 plus women and its member’s age range is extremely broad. So there will probably be like-minded ladies of the same age looking to meet people just like you.   N.O.W. absolutely encourages anyone who believes in the saying ‘You’re as young as you feel’.

Is it all Night Clubs and Loud Music?
Sometimes yes, if that’s what you want, other times No – the N.O.W calendar is packed with a variety of activities to suit all tastes – so why not have a look for yourself.

Is there any obligation to attend everything?
No, this club is for you and its aim is to give you choices. Come to as many or as few events as you wish. You could gather your girlfriends together and come along to a pre-organised night, it saves you having to organise anything yourselves – you just have to worry about turning up. Alternatively you can just come along so you don’t spend another Saturday night on the sofa!

How soon in advance do I have to book?
It is advised to book as soon as you can, as our events do get booked up quickly and therefore we cannot guarantee spaces will be available.

Why is it a Ladies Only Club?
N.O.W was formed to bring together women who want to improve their social lives and make new friends. There are many mixed activity groups and dating agencies around for those who specifically want to meet new partners but very few who specialise. N.O.W works on the principles of friendships first and organises a majority of it’s events at venues where there will be members of the opposite sex, so if you are single and wouldn’t mind meeting someone then you never know you may when you're out with the ladies.

How does the membership work?
N.O.W wants you to stay because you want to, not because you had to pay a years membership upfront! All we ask is a minimum commitment of 2 months membership during which you can book as many events as you like and use our Free Events Booking Service. Also, if you feel that there are no events that suit you then tell us what you do like and if it also appeals to our other members we will add it to the Events Calendar.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes you can bring as many guests as you like, but as a guest they can only attend 1 event and if they like it they are welcome to join.
